I can't seem find out how to prevent automatic updating of my games. Each time an auto-update occurs without my knowledge, I lose my saved games.
I've looked all over Steam with no luck. I can't even find how to search!
Can you tell me how to prevent Steam from doing auto-updates?

If you backup your game right now. you have a backup of the 0.8.8 folder, so when the 0.9.x arrives, you can still launch older versions on your own.
