game does not start !

after clicking 'New game' , the character is spawned in an empty house with nothing to do and interact with ... !!!!!!!!

What story are you playing? Did you see any red text/error messages on the main menu, prior to starting a new game?
Try exiting the game, deleting the folder below, and restarting the game:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Documents\Eek\House Party\Mods\Stories
