I am completely stuck on how to get with Madison. I thought being mean to Ashley would work but apparently not.

First you have to meet everyone at the party then Madison will talk about sky animal.
Talk and be nice to Madison. Talk to Ashley about sky animal.
Say all the right things to Madison after that are nice and comforting to then complete sky animal.

One thing to note though. You don't get with Madison after this, or the Drunk and Disorderly quests. Seems the developers do not want you to go any further with her than what they've already put in.
