I would love to know this too, as I've put everything regarding Custom-Story-Creation aside for quite a bit now.
Please someone with a little bit of insight answer this.

It appears that there is no publicly available version 1.3.x of the CSC software at this time.

As of yesterday people from the dev team confirmed they're working on it, though it might be a while and most CSC work is of course now focused on the upcoming Office Party game

As of December 2024, there is a 1.3.3 version of the CSC. It's here:

My understanding is that the dev team is working on a major revision that will make stories much easier to build.

I can't find anything about this version of CSC (1.3.3) here or online. Is there documentation/release notes to review?

Expect beeing compatible with game engine 1.3.3 :
Build 1:
* Updated Original Story
* Added general functionality for the Blank Template
Build2:
* Fix for text inside asterisks not showing up when exporting translation templates

Currently, i have no issue extracting template from 1.4.0 using CSC 1.3.3.
But that doesn't mean everything is properly handled (it might miss some variable which are not currently used by official stories).
I don't know if/when a newer csc version is planned.
About the two post, i'll edit the links.
I report your valid remlark to the dev team, so they do the update themselves next time

I see that the game has a lot of new variables related to clothing, so it would be nice if they could be used. For example, to check if a girl is wearing stockings or not...
Also, using the console (v2 options) it is possible to change the size of body parts (for example, through the console it is possible to give Patrick a normal penis) so it would be very nice if these options could be used in creating a custom story.
