I wasnt really able to complete the game properly without a single guide, its really in depth. Like the part where you need to make the flower blue, and there was something you needed to do in front of stephanie with the drunk guy. (cant really remember the names). How are you supposed to properly play without a guide.

Both of those cases have clues.

For example, giving flower to Ashley she tells you she hates color red.

As for the other thing, that is not even necessary. There are like 3 different ways to get Stephanie to open on topics on how she is helpful. See seeing anyone passout in combat, giving painkillers to Patrick near her (which you refer to), or just talking to Derek.
