Maybe we should lay out some policies regarding derivative work? While I don’t own the story in a strict copyright like sense, there can be some confusion on ownership unless it is tied to the original story name and uploader. Also, derivative work should not be allowed to be like storyname2 or some such nonsense. A lot of work goes into creating and testing these stories. Many people don’t realize exactly how much time it takes.
