I do not know if it is coincidence, but could the office be part of Patrick company?

In that case we could have CEO as well as Rachael there, in leading positions. Or at least as cameos.

You know what? That would be nice actually. Lots of cameo opportunities there.

Since they are cousins, both Madison and Ashley could appear as well.

Haven't read everything that came before, so ignore anything that I may be repeating here.

First things first though, I think at the very start of the game your character can find a notice board with plenty of clues/easter eggs on, but the main one to find would be for a party planning committee. You can apply to be on the committee, perhaps having to fulfill tasks in order to get accepted, and once on the committee you can end up in charge and plan the actual party to come. You could even have it go another way where, say, a boss's relation (nephew perhaps) has unfairly been put in charge of the committee, and you can either help them make a great party, or sabotage them. Each option has its own benefits or drawbacks (eg the boss is a woman and if you help the nephew do a good job, she will be pleased and willing to reward you). Also, once on the committee, other employees can make certain requests for the party, but you can't deliver for all of them leading to future positive or negative consequences (also leading to multiple play throughs). Maybe the opportunity to join the committee can be missed altogether, some other snake co-worker gets there first.

Moving on, being able to hook up with a married woman at the party. Could go a few ways, you can find evidence that she's been cheating on her husband and use it against her for your personal gain, or perhaps find evidence that the husband has been cheating with another girl (or even guy) from the office and use that to win her trust (and could also be used for/against the one that is being cheated with). You only know if you can 'succeed' with her if at some point you happen to notice she has/is taking off her wedding ring.

One of your female co-workers is a good friend, you have a banter/flirtation based relationship with them, but it has always been platonic. You can help her seduce her office crush, whether it be a guy or girl, and in return she will help you in a big way to seduce whoever you want at the party. Maybe when you're helping her she realises she actually likes you and you have to make the tough choice between her and another girl. It could even just be that the more she drinks, the more chance your emotional closeness with her turns into a physical closeness with her. This could also just be as simple as it being a good friend who you always play dares with, and the dares can really turn it up to 11.

My final offering (for now) would be a 'Head Of Department' achievement (probably just a task or quest but I'm sure you don't mind actual achievement ideas either). Anyway, can you guess what the achievement entails - I'll give you a minute to see if you can figure it out... Right then, you've guessed it- if you can receive/give head to all of the heads of department in the office (HR manager etc), you get the achievement.

The first thing that came to my mind is a work/sex habits mechanic, where you can choose to either focus on work during your work time, or be lazy and sleep around. Both could open and close different opportunities on the long run, like being much better at sex at the end if you focused on that, and terrible if you didn't at all. But if you focused on work, you have the chance to be promoted at the end and have cool sex with an exclusive character or whatever.

If it's a normal workplace when the game starts, and your interactions are what make it fall into sexual chaos, there should be some achievement for being a good boy/girl and getting through the game with only professional interactions with everyone.

I do believe that it'd be best for the game to have a mostly new cast of characters, with maybe one full time character from previous games and option for several cameos (say, Amy works there, you can invite Katherine at some point and they clash, you can watch Vickie porn, etc.)

It could also be cool to integrate Neighborhood Watch in some way. You don't need Patrick, but it's a popular site which you can entertain yourself with, or use with/against a coworker. Heck, maybe even have a coworker already have a negative experience with the site! You could figure this out and use it against them.

I'd love the option of voyeur opportunities with the risk of being fired. Some people have commented on this, but hiding cameras, hiding under a desk, peeping at toilets/office gym showers. If you're caught by the wrong person, you could be fired on the spot. But you could learn that a specific coworker is super kinky/exhibitionist, and it would actually be a good thing to be caught.

It's a party, right? Parties usually end late at night. You can stay through the entire party and pursue your opportunities there but risk over-sleeping and being late to work, or go to bed early so you're well rested and can only arrive early to work like this (making a distintion between being early and on time). Being early to work would have its benefits, like camera placement, prank set ups, specific character opportunities, etc.

Anyways, I love HP currently. I didn't know anything about Office Party until today (still don't know much like progress status, tentative launch date, general concept...) but I thought it was a really cool idea and wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

Not sure if character ideas are still applicable, but I was thinking that having a character that looked similar to Number 6 (Tricia Helfer) from Battlestar Galactica. She'd be a really stuck up and rigid person on the outside, not caring about anyone in the office. But when you get to know her and help her out, she turns out to be a crazy and obsessive person. You could make her obsessed with another character in the office, or with the player. Not sure how you're going to do the quest system in this game, but you could start it off with relatively sane things, and each successive quest she has you do more and more insane things to appease her. Office Parties are notorious for coworkers learning weird things about each other, so I think this would fit in perfectly.

I just got through Ascension and Lucifer on Netflix, and while neither are anything close to BSG, I was very happy to see Tricia Helfer back in some leading roles :D The quest system is going to be portrayed somewhat similarly, but split up into days instead of one party, and culminating in grander events. So whereas we don't necessarily force players towards Vickie Vixen's "finale" in HP, there may be a few more "clear" ending events in OP. Just with more ways of getting there...or failing. So yeah there's going to be a lot more room for meaningful character development.

Phew, a lot of good ideas here as well. We do want to portray a sense of a real office space and real "work" (at least as much as we feel would add some nice contrast to all the craziness you can get yourself into). We're also definitely going to try and balance certain mundanities of stereotypical office environments like committees or meetings and "oh someone's got a case of the Mondays!" cliches against some of our own wackier ideas. There's certainly room for office affairs between co-workers, and sprinkling in content and characters from House Party as well . We do want players to also be able to enjoy what traditional RPGs would label "the good playthrough" and "the evil playthrough". Of course with us, that would end up in things like getting fired, or beat up by a co-worker, or hog-tied naked on a copier. Or...I guess, starting off by licking envelopes in the mail room and working your way up to a dull middle management job. We'll see ;)

A seemingly uptight coworker or boss could have a secret sex room in their office. Also, every office has a Busty Redhead from Accounting. I’d like to engage with her in what sophisticated men like me call tittyfucking.
