[MOD] ZoomCam (Mouse Scroll Wheel Zoom)

ZoomCam

Hey everyone! This is my first mod release.

At some point while playing House Party, I found myself really wanting a zoom feature… ;) So I searched for a mod, didn’t find one, but one mod inspired me. That’s when I figured... why not make my own?

Technically, it’s not a "zoom", but a smooth Field of View (FOV) adjustment. The best part? It works dynamically without needing to use console commands!

Just a simple little mod that makes it easier to zoom in and out during gameplay.

FEATURES:
✔ Adjust the FOV dynamically using the mouse scroll wheel
✔ Toggle ON/OFF with ALT + X (resets FOV to default)
✔ Works in character customization
✔ Also works with the digital camera

DOWNLOAD & INSTALLATION:
  1. Run House Party at least once to generate necessary files
  2. Install the latest version of MelonLoader and select House Party as the target game
  3. Move ZoomCam.dll into the following folder where the game is installed:

    Code: Select all

    House Party\Mods
  4. Launch the game and enjoy zooming!
ZoomCam_v1.1.zip
Zoomcam.dll
(3.05 KiB) Downloaded 158 times

KNOWN ISSUES:
  • Since the zoom modifies the main game camera, scrolling while in menus (such as the inventory or main menu) will still adjust the FOV in the background (not the menu itself).
  • If this bothers you, simply press ALT + X to toggle it off and reset to the default FOV.
