[Abandoned][Incomplete] Nemesis Party [0.19.4]

For older custom stories that do not work with the last one to three releases of House Party. Please be very specific as to what versions of the game the story you post will work with. Any posts without documented confirmation of version compatibility or significant user complaints of said story NOT working with the documented game version will be removed.

All other rules and expectations pertaining to the Custom Story Showcase apply. Since this subforum is intended specifically FOR old stories that will likely not work with future House Party client versions, we will not have any auto-pruning of 'old' or 'unviewed' posts, etc. going on.

When you have the Find Someone to Gamble With Patrick (should be Matt) quest, clicking Talk on anyone automatically takes you to their response about being asked to gamble, which is confusing. What if I want to ask them about something else?

I think that was a design decision. When you activate any quest, you are in "quest more" (not in free roam) and all topics with NPCs are specific to that quest.

But it is super easy to get stuck since for any unfinished quest you will be permanently stuck in quest mode.

When I start a quest like spin the bottle or Afterlife, I can't interact with anyone after activating that quest. I don't know if it's a big or something else.


If you can add a story guide it would be awesome

Yeah. I poked around a bit in the CSC to figure out what was going on.

I totally get the one quest at a time design approach. Prevents unexpected behavior conflicts.

However, in the final version, I think it would feel more natural if some of these dialogues were expanded a little. For example: NPC: "Hey, how's it going?" --> PC: "Want to gamble with Matt?" --> NPC: [Response as currently written]. You could still use your one quest at a time approach to dialogue triggers, but you'd avoid the non-sequitur of clicking "Talk" and having the NPC answer a question you didn't know you were asking.

Someone uploaded your story to CSC. You should probably ask devs to have it removed, so you can upload it yourself when it is out of beta state.

I edit the thread name as it's no longer a devlog.

But the game engine supported is wrong. In my pov, if you use 0.19.4 CSC, supported game engine should be both 0.19.4 & 0.20.3.

I'm currently starting the translation of this custom story to french.

I have already found few small issues :
For Abbie & Suki, the line about gropping breast is not the expected one. The one about gropping butt is displayed instead.
I don't know if this is an ID conflict or a typo.
