So, after forum failure, all custom content from the forum is wiped out?

Sadly yes, but none of them were compatible with the (two) latest official version, so users will just miss bugged stories.
And if authors continue to update theirs stories, they will come back soon after the next hp csc release

I have added several mods from personal backup. Unfortunately I do not have any descriptions of the mods, or their authors.

Please, let the author publish their custom story, it's far easier for them to write the description and edit post later when publishing an update.
I understand you want to provide us custom story, but we purge the forum to make sure we only got the updated/maintained ones.

In the meantime, i'll just merge all your topics in one old backup.

By the look of things, it seems a lot of content creators done moved on, since they don't seem to be uploading their custom stories back to the site. A shame really.

I can only speak for myself with only one not very popular mod but there is no point to create a topic until the new CSC is released and the old mods can work with the latest version: 99,9% of the replies will be variants of "this doesn't work". And of course we can't work on newer ones.
So don't lose your hope just yet, but it's going to be a while. I understand that with the patreon exclusives the developers have to juggle between multiple releases each month and it's hard to keep up with everything but maybe they should put on the extra resources to make sure that at least the steam version is updated at the same time as the CSC, particularly if they expect the update to break all the current stories.

Hey all, I know the server issues we had and our lack of backup for the forum content is a bummer. No real way around it, but we're doing daily backups now so this will never happen again. On the upside, I have been informed that we will be putting up the new HP CSC version by the beginning of next week, best case end of this weekend, so we hope that by that time our custom story community can start getting back on their feet. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone
