[Feature Request]Opportunities not tied to a character

It would be helpful to be able to set up opportunities (quests) that are not associated with a specific character. Perhaps they could be associated with the player, similar to how there are now Player Event Triggers.

If this is too complicated, could we have opportunities associated with Compubrah or Phone Call? CSC already lets you set up opportunities for these characters, but they don't show up in the opportunities window or result in on screen notifications.

I'll ticket this for a rainy day...

I assume the main benefit here is not having Opportunity image dependencies/references?

In my specific case, it's because I want to duplicate character files without creating a bunch of additional confusing duplicate quest references in the CSC dropdowns.

In general, though, it's a nice QoL thing to be able set up quests without the specific associated image references. Imagine, for example, a quest given on game start "Find the host of the party." Nice to have that without an image hint.

Yeah, I understand that.

In case I miss this in that thread, how critical was this Achievement functionality to you for your story?

I responded in the thread, but Achievement functionality is not very important. Much more interested in this request about quests.
