mouths not moving during intimacy in unofficial stories

girls mouths dont seem to be animating during sex in unofficial stories. the moaning sounds will play, but their mouths stay shut as they stare almost expressionless at me. it can be a little unnerving.

this only seems to happen on unofficial custom stories. official stories (original, date night, valentine's) don't have this problem, as the mouth animations work fine during sex in those stories.

i don't know if this is a game issue, or just an issue with the custom stories themselves, but it happens in every custom story i've tried.

Yeah I believe this is tied to the fact that there's no voice-over triggered in custom stories, which is what drives the actual mouths moving. I will put in a ticket to tie the mouth movement to any presence of "spoken" dialogue from characters.

Its been rare but I have had it happen in the original storyline.

Both when using normal game progression and with console tweaking commands.

I didn't think about it much at first because this was a common problem in custom
stories. then it happened with Amy. The 'sounds' where there but her mouth wasn't
moving like it used to. Rachael was also affected in one play through.

I will have to make more precise notes about these to share with you as soon as the
incident occurs again.

Was VA played properly during these incidents? What was your volume setting in-game at? What were your graphics settings? Thanks!

It would be great, if there is story setting, where you can enable voices from Original Story, for any CSC.

Use case would custom story that depends on Original Story (keeps dialogue IDs for old voiced dialogue intact), where you want to show all voice overs for old dialogues, and only not show for any new dialogue, created by player.

erasmus,

When it happened to me was with the original game version, prior to 0.9.2 beta, and has been some what random with my audio settings
at the same levels as I have always run them with the game, 50-60% PC volume to keep over-noise to a minimum, and then using volume
control on the amplified speakers to a comfortable "Normal" level. The video settings I have run the game at with my PC are the upper and
top video settings because my PC is 4.02GHZ 8 Channel AMD processor with 8GB system memory and a 2 GB nVidia GT950 video card. My
audio is an 8.1 surround capable (high end) high definition onboard sound "card". All are running the latest drivers as well.

I have also noticed some echo in some of the interactions that occurs during transitions from one position to another. This is common in
some of the custom stories with 0.8.3 and 0.8.8 and is random with the Original story but this MIGHT be related to my sound settings since
I do have them set to maximum quality for a 5.1 surround sound system since that is what I have connected right now. My 7.1 surround is
setup with one of my other computers right now but is in planning stages to be moved to my 4.02ghz since that one is only a 3.4ghz Win XP.

I hope this helps since I have not played the game except to test out the 0.9.2 beta update. Posted update on that under the story posts.

Thanks again! :)
