not sure is there a way to start this game I can't talk to anyone in it everyone is here but i cant interact with anyone on it.

Try version 0.9.3. It works for me (win10, 64-bit)

I have the same issue. The only sound is the fireplace, no one reacts to anything or lets me speak to them. I am not sure what I should do but that may just be because I'm an idiot. Sorry if this has been answered more thoroughly and issue resolved but I'm just not sure how to proceed. Thanks?

Everything is said. Just use the game version this custom story was design for not another one.
For steam, this means use the beta channel.
For other distributor, i hope you kept the previous version

I've been enjoying this custom story a lot, and I just want to ask, will you redo this for the newest version or are you gonna keep it for the previous one?

I sure miss this custom story. Does the author have any plans to update the [0.8.8] {CSC 0.6.1} version to the latest [0.9.6] {0.7.0} level?

PS - In the event that won't happen could someone tell me how to install an HP back-level that v1.8 works with? Can two different levels co-exist peacefully on the same machine?

The new update in Steam tells you how to revert the game to older versions, click the link under the latest update description and read through the first two paragraphs I believe and the instructions should be there. Although, I would like to see this story become available on the latest version as well.

Please, keep discussion inside the custom story it refers.

"House Party Custom Story Showcase" contains only stories compatible with the last game engine.
