Interesting. I was kinda thinking something like this, but with black borders on the letters (makes them much easier to read... I just don't know how to do that in MS Paint).

I didn't mean as 100% forced subtitles, but as an option that can be turned on/off.

I'm loving the new ambient dialog system, it really makes the game feel more like a real party. My only issue is.... it's hard to hear most of it. If many characters are in a room together, they all start doing ambient dialog together and it blurs together. Also, it's just difficult to hear it clear...

It is; it's the last beta option in the list of beta. I think it's called "testing beta". They didn't include the 12.3 number in the name or the beta.
